Ariane Amsz, DPT, was born and raised in NYC, New York and has also lived in Austria where she worked as a ski instructor. She is fluent in French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Prior to pursuing a career as a physical therapist, Ariane worked in international business for several years. She received her Bachelor's degree from Wellesley College in 1993 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York University in 2004.
She has extensive training and experience in orthopedics, geriatrics, neurology, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Since May 2007, Ariane has taken several courses in myofascial release (the John F. Barnes approach), which has since become her newfound passion. Ariane is an advanced myofascial release therapist.

Ariane is also trained in Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy.
She is dedicated to learning and frequently attends continuing education courses to further her knowledge base. Her hobbies include Gyrotonic and NIA classes, reading, traveling, languages, downhill skiing, and scuba diving.
